We positioned Soundwave as a music festival people would connect with for its own identity and experience.
The ambition was to build recognition that could grow beyond any individual artist or lineup. From the logo and colours to the wider visual system, we developed a brand grounded in South Asian culture and shaped by the energy of North American music festivals.
The messaging centred on giving South Asian music a shared stage in North America, connecting cultural familiarity with contemporary sounds.
Artist announcements became opportunities for storytelling: we linked DJs’ childhood influences with their journeys to the stage, presenting local talent and international headliners as part of the same festival.
Beond acted as Soundwave’s marketing arm, connecting brand building with the work needed to sell tickets.
We managed design, content production, social media, creator collaborations, influencer partnerships, and paid marketing as one coordinated campaign. Early activity introduced the festival and tested audience response. As interest grew, we expanded creator content and community reach, then used retargeting and timely ticket messaging to convert that interest into bookings.
